Display Towers and cages, what do you think?

thebigsquease Dec 05, 2004 09:02 PM

The displays in the middle were already designed. The two towers on each end are made from my design. Each level has a removeable tray in case of accidents during shows. The doors are on the back, and are Black instead of clear, stopping the "see thru" effect.
I am always trying to make my set up at shows attractive and pleasing. I can't get over all the dirty old cracked aquiriums and upside down rubber maids that can't be viewed in.
Thanks for looking.

SWEET! I like 'em...good idea to protect your animals from theft. How do you heat them to keep your herps warm at shows?

Behind my table(s) I use shop lights. with 500 watt lights. Believe it's not heat I am worried about.. it's keeping them cool!!!! The lights are awsome, most people use screw on table lights.. which I have too, but I love these shop Lights!!

We had the same guys add the pull out drawers. That was actually our idea.
I was having trouble with my towers getting "messed" during the show and the pull out drawers helped us a lot.
Then, Tim of Special K Reptiles suggested the black acrylic doors. It's been an on going design.

Either way, we do love the tower design. Helps get more square footage out of a table. And helps to get the animals up so others can see it.

but here is what the business card says that I have.

Hugh sets up at the Indy show every month. The towers are $80 and the
tri level was about $35 per level plus the cost of a carry case if you want it. I think it was $150 and worth every penny.

I had the removable drawers made for my towers later, so I don't know if they are now included but I know that Hugh has joked with me a couple of times that I started this and now he has to make those drawers all the time. I think he now makes them as an option.
