I've got a 127 grams baby salmon who's shed once since I've had him (one month), and already the orange and PINKs are coming out more and more...their always nice to see their colors change almost like suri's do as they get older. Ofcourse depending on the lineage, some get pinker than others. And mine anyhow, change color depending on stress (i.e. handling), humidity and lighting. All snakes I've seen and had (redtails anyhow) do tend to change color throughout there lifespan though...
