NICE! Cali kings are SWEET!
One summer in the Oregon State University McDonald Forest just north of Corvallis while I was mountain biking I saw about a 2 ft long black snake go across the single track in front of me. Before I could catch it the Rubber Boa went into a hole in the ground. When I got back home I realized it was a Rubber Boa. I was wondering if you have ever seen a Rubber Boa in the Willamette Valley area. I believe they are pretty rare to see since they spend most of the time underground. It's a pretty cool local snake around your area and I read they are alot like Rosy boas. LOL...........I'm sure you don't need to go anywhere to go herping except for a short walk to your herp room of hand feeding frenzied friends.
