Live plants for indoor enclosure

For those of you who have indoor enclosures, do you have live plants in the enclosure? If so what kind? Are the miniature roses safe?
Thanks.

you 'll need lots of uva/b for a start...miniature roses are fine if you don't mind keep up with watering (actually it might be an advantage and save yourself a trip by dumping the poopy water in it each time you change your tort's drinking/bathing water tray/disc...not sure about that smells, though), their petals and leaves are good for torts if they developed a pref for it, there's an array of plants you can grow (just about anywhere really) so check out some recommendations (tort edible plants list on tortoise.org for a start.)..I prefers cactus pads so you can feed them, also for looks: sedium/cacti or those ornamental grasses (black or green mondos/ophiopogon japonicus or little bluestem/schizachyrium scoparium NOT andropogon gerardii the BIG guys for Ecthotherm food plant?)as they are less thorny and useful for your bambino's hiding/resting spots
