Just got a juvenile who arrived from the supplier only weeks ago, along with 3 other types of Kingsnakes. Widest point ofthe snakes was like a slim pencil; one was even slimmer. Their new arrival and slimness suggest 2004 hatchlings.

But...

When I measured, I was surprised to see that he is about 18 inches long. (2003 hatchling not fed very often?)

Is it possible to gain a full 9 inches from just summer to December? Or is it more likely that he was hatched in 2003?
