Give him a few days off, he's not a machine. Feed him, rest him. Love him.

you are a genius, thank you, thats some of the best advice i ever heard HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA im sayin dude never posted back if it worked or not and i tried my method and it didnt work

sorry that was just my attempt at a joke.

It depends on the male, some of mine will lock up again after a few days rest, some need more time.

Also try different females, that works sometimes.
I've had some that show no interest, then swap females, and they lock right up.
happened this morning actually.

My male albino usually hooks up with my females for between 24 and 36 hours at a time.

Maybe your's has a premature ejaculation problem?-LOL (snake viagra needed?)

Seriously though, that sounds fine to me, even if it is a bit shorter in duration than what I have observed.

Sometimes my male will ignore a female after mating with her. Seperating them for a day, or introducing another female will get him mating again. I always assumed there is some mating scent remaining in the cage (or on that female) that "turns him off" for a while, and that the scent of a new female-- or a short rest away from that original female-- should "turn him on" again.

For some reason,i had not thought of that yet(scent).
I just swapped them back and forth and they hooked up again.

Thanks
