I'm gettting 1.1 Cuviers Dwarfs [12 & 16 inches now]. A few beginner questions for anyone please: For now I'm going to start with a 7 ' L x 3' W x 2' H plywood [sliding glass] plastic lined cage. I'm going to use a 60 gallon Rubbermaid tub in it. The tub is @ 10 inches high so I need to use a substrate that will build up so the caimens can get in and out of the 10 inch high tub. Can you picture that ? [1] Should I use a substrate to build it up or should I just use rocks ? [2] What is a good safe substrate ?
I will have heat lamps in the day but how about heat at night ? Pro Products radient heat panels ? [3] Any suggestions on how to heat the 4' L x 30 " W x 10 " H plastic Rubbermaid tub ? [4] From what I have read both the 1.1 Cuviers should be OK together for now ?
