I KNOW EVERYONE SAYS THAT THESE ARE NOT NEEDED BUT I HAVE A UV LIGHT RIGHT NOW THE PURPLE ONE NOW WHICH ONE IS BETTER THE RED OR THE PURPLE IF NE1 KNOWS THE DIFFERENCE OR HAS ANY SUGGESTIONS ???????

don't get the UV "purple" light. hurts their eyes. get a regular red bulb, you can get them at walmart for 2 bucks (aka "party lights"
. don't go to the petstore and spend 5 bucks.

Not sure if you have Big Lots around your house but they have them there for 99 cents for two bulbs. Red light bulbs that is.
