BD clawing glass

GTP_Paul Dec 06, 2004 03:23 AM

I have had by BD for about 8 months now. Recently she has dedcided to start clawing and jumping againt the glass. I believe it is because she sees a reflection of herself and keeps trying to get at it. Any ideas you guys and gals have to help stop this would be great, she sometimes ignores her food to get at the reflection of herself. Her tank is lined on the outside back and each side for privacy. Willing to try pretty much anything.

thanks
paul

VERY cute pic!

I noticed my beardie also trying to crawl through the glass, but ends up clawing at it and standing straight in the air. I believe it's because he sees the amount of space past his tank and wanted to go explore (he LOVES to explore).

I previously posted about it and someone said that theirs did the same thing, and to prevent them from doing it, they taped some paper on the sides and their beardie stopped doing it. i did something similar to that by just folding up the paper on the glass tank that's a little above eye-level of my beardie and he stopped doing that too
