This is actually one of the cooler things that we can do on these new forums -- the ability to showcase member photos on the forum pages without having to go through the techs who then would have to find the time to squeeze in manually enter the info and uploading the new files to the site and all that in between all their other work stuff...wouldn't make them happy to say the least. Now with these new forums, I can just go in, enter the info and the system updates the page for me automatically...no need to go through the techs at all <g>.

For the sake of the re-launching of the new forums I just did a really quick scouring of the k.com photo galleries finding photos that looked nice or interesting and which matched the nature of the various forums...so bascially all of the photos were biased to my personal tastes LOL.

Since this ability to fiddle around with the forum screens is now something very easy to do and takes hardly any time, the moderators have seriously been considering holding fun little informal 'photo contests' on some of the more active forums for the members every few weeks with the winner getting their photo put up on the forum in question until the next contest rolls around. This way we can rotate photos on a semi-regular basis and keep things interesting. If the indigo folks would like to be one of the forums to put their name on the list for participating in the fun and games we can do that.
