O/T ** Two of the 8 Emerald Swift kids :0)

PHEve Dec 06, 2004 10:18 AM

Heres 2 of them, its very hard to get pics of the whole crew as they are always climbing all over th place in different spots.

But these 2 were lining up for breakfast so I snapped a pic!
They are 5 weeks and growing quickly. Some are begining to show emerald green (hues of color) in their backs.

They are really killing me with eating , because they need tiny crickets, and they eat them so fast, I can't seem to keep the tiny ones available long. I have some more, (crickets incubating but that takes a while too!)

The little guy Santy Claws, improves each day, eats from my hand and is using his back legs really well now. Makes me Happy, he made it. I think he will be 100 % soon.
But hes my little buddy now and will most likely STAY, when the others go.

They are cute, quick, great HUNTERS, and its been fun , I'm sure Grinch and Suess will honor me by giving me more mouths to feed soon. LOL

Oh MAN they are so precious!!! *cuddles them... sort of *

Oh, Eve, I fell in love with this big fat beautiful Emerald Swift at Petsmart. I watched him, he is nice and healthy, eating and drinking and really active. I want him so bad! LOL

My mom was like, "Isn't that the lizard that woman Eve has, that gave birth to live babies?" She got a kick out of that!

Hello Eve,

Those Emerald swifts are just adorable. Reminds me of some baby "blue bellies" that my husband and I caught.
