Showcase Cage. 36"x24"x24"

Sypha Dec 06, 2004 11:57 AM

I am in need of some advice on what would work well for the bottom of one of these cages. I just bought one, and want to avoid particle bedding since it may cause impaction in my leopard geckos, of which I am going to house in it.

I thought of maybe repti-carpet. But, I want to hear what everyone else he thinks.

The repti-carpeting is REALLY expensive but their are other similar options like that outdoor carpeting. Make sure it is untreated (no UV protection on it, ect because this can be toxic for herps). I have never used this method personally but know many who do. I plan on using this method in the rack system I am building as well.
