first of all, i'm assuming by "genetic" you mean a simple recessive, not something influenced by many genes so occurring unpredictably but periodically--and infrequently--out of a particular lineage?
second, i'd be interested in seeing replies reporting any recessive pattern traits, whether or not they've been crossed to color morphs. Can anyone report a proven recessive vanishing pattern line? a proven recessive striped line?

Yes, I mean simple recessive or dominant genetic traits.
It may very well be a mix of genes that become masked or unmasked by certian colors, mix of patterns, or even sex somewhat like mammalian hair color or baldness problems.
I am just curious if anybody is a little closer to something more concrete than I have produced a few of this pattern from this pair or this pair throws pinners or so.
I am wondering if the hondo morphs may quickly end up like the ball morphs where we have different combos of traits making new traits and begin to perpetuate a whole new line of colors and pattern morphs that we haven't really seen yet.
