You know, im not really sure what happened to his tail. He has a tendency to really freak out when you are taking him out of his enclosure, running around, bumping into things, etc. Im guessing that his tail must have broken while doing this. I cant think of any other reason. Nothing has ever happened to him otherwise. He is my boyfriends ig, so he might be able to tell you better, but I doubt it. were pretty sure its self-inflicted in a sense.

Oh I was just wondering because my son's ig Tiny always breaks the tip of his tail and we never know how he does this because he has a very nice cage and the size is very big. Just this morning when we were outside going potty I noticed the tip raw and a little drop of blood.

That is a really pretty iguana!

Well thanks! Im really glad that you think so. We take a lot of pride in raising our animals, and just love having them in our lives! We think hes pretty too, and its nice to get feedback on them.

Hes a bit crazy, but beautiful nonetheless. (We hope he grows out of his "freakish" ways!!!)

Craziness is sometimes good. My iggy literally thinks he's a dog. He even goes so far as to hiss at the mailman on a daily basis. It's funny.
