i really love this little male .. hes very kool and has an appetite that is incredible !!! as you can see from the scars on his backside that hes been through some really bad battles as a young animal .. hes been in captivity for 6 months is as healthy as a horse.. i havent seen many "CAPTIVE" bred suris with the colors this guy has.. which of coarse i cant seem to get cause my camera S-U-C-K-S and im a lousy photographer ..lol .. but anyways .. his contrast and pinks are incredible !!! its a shame he is soooooo scarred up .. but i love the little guy regardless !! i wanna see if he will produce the same as what he is

what do you guys think ?

A real beauty, Koky! Nice to see a male boa that someone is proud of. Most people want to aquire females; " I guess they forget that it takes males to breed them? " ......GOD BLESS....Johnson Herp

thanks man .. i actually believe in awsome male bred to awsome females.. as of now i have a huge female that i had the chance to breed this year and didnt cause 1st i wanted her to be a little bigger and second because i havent found the male i want to breed to her yet(and i have a few breedable ones) .. i wanna try and produce babies as awsome as some of the top suri breeders on here .. i have over 10 suris .. and most arent even gonne ever be bred by me cause they just dont measure up .. and they are very pretty .. but i dont want pretty i want "AWSOME" !! and IMO the only way to do that is by breeding exceptional males with exceptional females

thanks , koky

To each their own, my friend. Awsome, however is anything that is healthy and vibrant in their own individual way. Our society is way to " image based " sometimes I wish that I was born blind. So then I would understand what real beauty truly is. There are; " Healthy snakes and unhealthy snakes, good genes and bad genes, but there is no ugly snakes. " Breed what you will, by all means. Do not always base your breeding decisions however, on what society or the market deems " beautiful. " " Beautiful " is a word very misunderstood....GOD BLESS...Johnson Herp

i wanna breed the look that i like !! its just a coincidence that what i like is what a few surinam breeders on here have been producing thus i wanna produce ones that look like those or better and i agree there are no ugly boas.. there are just some that surpass others. "Thats what i want" ! peace, koky

nicest BCC babies I have ever seen came from at least one parent that was, by popular opinion, "ugly". In fact, the nicest litter I have ever seen which happened to be N. Brazilians had a father so dark and ugly the owner asked if I wanted it for free. I believe John has said before, his litter of Peruvians, definitley one of the nicest Peruvian litters of all time by popular opinion, did not have spectacular parents. Its a waste not too breed them if they are mature and in good health and you might hit the right combination to produce the look you are looking for. Also, I think the animals deserve the excitement after laying in a cage for years. Good luck.

i have seen this happen many times as well mike... my friend has this very old dark surinam female that throws out some spectacular looking babies no matter what they breed her to .( i own her now ) but you have to admit that the possabilities are greater when breeding two animals that are amazing .. this particular female i got cause shes always been bred to non-attractive males and still produced some craaazy snakes .. so imagine what she will throw out bred to an awsome male . and shes around 9 feet long and getting some good breeding weight now from the last litter she had(she lost ALOT of weight) .. but after seeing what she produced , and the price i got her for ?? i said what the hell !! ill see if i can get a pic of her later on here . thanks for the input guys !! koky
