hello
I don't know about this my argentine b/w tegu will kill her hopper and then leave it for 30 min and then go and eat it, I just don't know is this ok.. thanks a lot k

Just make sure the live food source isn't hurting (scratching/biting) your tegu, the time delay isn't a concern. It's probably a matter of "killing the moving prey" which is an instinct, but at the moment the tegu may not be very hungry.
