i knew you'd eventually pull through for us all! im about due for another round of pics. they're likely to come tomorrow because i have a new female phant coming in.
on the henkeli tip - i have grown pretty fond of these guys since i got them in september. although im not enthusiastic when it comes to handling my uro's since they're all so fragile, my henks definitely are a little different when it comes to that. my female has slight shedding problems with her tail because of odd holes that developed, i guess either injuries sustained in her wild life or sometime in the importation process. anyhow, i've handled her a bit and she has taken a tolerance to it unlike any other gecko ive had. after a while though, she gets a little anxious from me poking and pulling at her pieces of skin, but for the most part shes really calm and collected. my friends and visitors are often dazzled by them because they're the biggest leaf-tailed geckos i own, and most people have a strong tendency to say "hey....let me hold that!" beardo and laurel have actually proven to me that they're calm enough most of the time to tolerate being handled for a short while...
anyway, its good to see barkley again!
are your henkelis cb? if so where did you get them? they look awesome!!!
Got him from Kelly Sharp as a baby, about 2 years ago. Hes doing great, and is actually kinda hefty in the tummy for a Henk.
And hes very socialable, as far as handling will walk right out onto me and stay on me, or come to me when I put my hand out to get him.
My female Sindar is wc, but she too is getting friendly, I have had her for over a year now.
And the other male I have I believe was a wc also.
