Snakes don't like human taste?

klou Dec 07, 2004 01:22 AM

I am aware that snakes mainly attack humans when they feel threatened because not many snakes could swallow a human. However, I heard somewhere, a television series, that snakes do n ot prefer human blood because of the taste. I was curious if this was true because I cannot find any information prooving it or that even states anything along those lines. I would not be suprised if the show was false, I am just curious to the correct answer. Thanks!

Sounds like an Austin Stevens rumor...

If those are the exact words used then it would be false just in that snakes rarely judge prey by the smell of the blood since most animals tend to keep that on the inside
