UV LIGHT

ACCORDING TO SOME PEOPLE IVE HEARD THE UV LIGHT HURTS THEIR EYES THATS WHAT I HAVE FOR MY GECKOS SHOULD I SWITCH TO A RED LIGHT WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE? AND WHAT IS BETTER?

switch to red light. the difference is it won't hurt their eyes. they can't see the red light spectrum but you can so that allows them to be nocturnal while allowing you to watch them at night

Agreed. I always used regular white bulbs in a dome reflector during the day for heat and red ones at night. I also had many caves for the Leo's to hide in during the day and never had a problem the 10-15 years now I've owned Leo's. Always give them a place to hide to relieve stress or to get away from any lighting you are using if they feel the need to.
