As I said below, I have a climbing branch for my Burm right now and she LOVES it -- she spends a lot of her time on it and I even snapped some pics of her eating upside-down, like a GTP.

However, I know that branches can be tough to set up because they need to be VERY stable or else they could fall or break and hurt your snake. If you're building the cage yourself, you may be able to work a branch into the plans. Otherwise, it might be tough to set it up safely, especially for a really big snake setup.

I'm not sure as to other decorations . . . I think that may just depend on how much you're willing to clean, how much effort you want to put into the setup, and what kind of effect you're going for -- a minimalist, utilitarian setup seems to work for lots of breeders and keepers, but a well set-up vivarium with fake (or real!) plants can't be beat for aesthetic. So, I think it's largely up to you.

I have a hide box for my burm and he uses it all the time .
To dress up the cage you can buy some plastic vines they cell them at petsmart or petco for $9.00 for 6ft and mount them on the walls they help when i mist the cage the water stay on the leves longer .

I simply paint my cage to look like leaves. It's easy with a textured roller.

Yep! It took me many months but I built it. The floor is 3/4 plywood covered with linoleum to make it easy to clean and disinfect. Those speaker things are for the heat lamp and CHE. They are open in the back so heat does not build up. They are angled to direct the heat toward the center. Thanx!
