Powdered Supplements

Hey, I've been a long time fan of Uros, and I'm finally getting a baby mali in a week or so! I'm trying to get everything bought and more or less set up now before I actually get him... and I'm trying to decide what kind/combination of supplements to use... since there are so many out there. I was going to combine the Rep-Cal Herptivite and Cal/D3, and then I came across the Uro dust. If I use the Uro dust and Cal/D3, do I still need the Herptivite? Is there such a thing as too much of a good thing? Also, would a 1:1 ratio work best... or something different? Thanks for any input... -Katie

there is such thing as too much of a good thing. for example, if phos/calcium ratios are off then it can cause health problems.
i personally use calcium 4 times a week and uro dust once a week. i also only use the 1:0 ratio because phosphorous seems to be more prevelant in food than calcium. i would love to know what some of the old school uro owners use, calcium-wise and if your choice is effected by if your uro eats crickets once a month.
if there is anything wrong with my supplement regimen please let me know!!!
