ROOM SIZE ENCLOSURE, GOOD OR BAD?

jojay327 Dec 07, 2004 05:00 PM

HERES THE DEAL, I HAVE AN 18 FOOT BURM THAT IS CURRENTLY IN A CAGE THAT MEASURES 9'X4'X4'. THE CAGE IS SIX YEARS OLD AND IS IN NEED OF REPLACING. WE HAVE A ROOM THAT IS 10'X12' WITH NOTHING IN IT. I WANT TO TEAR UP THE CARPET AND LAY SOME TILE ECT.ECT.ECT. JUST TO PROTECT THE FLOOR. I WANT TO CREATE A ZOO TYPE ENCLOSURE, SHE DESERVES IT AND WHAT BETTER WAY TO VIEW SUCH A BEAUTIFUL ANIMAL. AS FAR AS DOORS, HEAT, WINDOWS ECT.ECT.ECT. IT IS ALL COVERED. SHOULD I GO FOR IT OR DO YOU RECCOMEND JUST ORDERING ONE OF THE BIGGER CAGES OUT THERE LIKE MONSTER CAGES. THANKS FOR ANY REPLYS AND SORRY FOR THE LONG POST.

This is a matter of pure opinion. My personal opinion is that you should definitly go for it! I would love to have the space to build a zoo like enclosure for my burm. Ahhh maybe one day. I built the cage that currently houses my burm and his next one will be the same.
I'm one of those guys who does everything himself from computer repair, auto repair to exotic reptile cage building. lol

Have fun and please post pics if and when you go through with it.
