I have a male bci redtail that I have shown on here on many occasions!I was using him as a breeder when I first started breeding a few months ago,He was doing one heck of a job!I would pull him out every 2 weeks like clock work an feed him an he ate like a champ!I have always called him a pastelish male because he is just so dank pink!I have pic's of him but they stink big time an dont show his true coloring! An when I see a pastelish type boa on kingsnake for sale for 4 or 500 dollars I just look on an laygh to myself because BAD'S coloration extemely blows them away!Well sry for getting off the point but I was just trying to explain how pink he is!One day during his break or I thought he was taking a break,I reached in to get him out for feeding an bammo he was in her, thats when I realized an put him back down needless to say he stopped an his hemipenis went back in an I took him out an fed him!I have not gotten him to breed since an thats been about a month an a half ago!I hurt him, didn't I?wELL HE EVEN GOT DARKER WHILE HE WAS BREEDING BUT HAS SHED TWICE AN LIGHTENED BACK UP TO NORMAL!Sry!I put him back in with a female tonight,An I put his brother in their too that has the hurt back,he still eats like a champ! An I figured maybe that would induce him back into breeding, but its been about an hour an no deal!Plus one last question,Since I didnt have anyback ground info on bad,I asked once if it was possible if this might be a new pastel an was told that it would have to be proven out well I really never had the 2 brothers together since the one with the hurt back is my daughters,an well, lilman has more pink than his brother with the red saddles an the whole nine yards!Bad's tail is oranger than his brother but the same colr of pink an the works! Now with these 2 being brothers as long as I didnt hurt bad that is!Isnt that one step towards proving a new line of pastel out, when 2 sibs from the same litter are showing the same coloration??Well sorry for being so long I just wanted to be sure an explain everything,Oh an I am keeping an eye on the 2 males!I dont want littleman getting hurt anymore!ThanksEric[Hypoboa

I really have had a hard time not posting something derogatory about your posts so far Eric, but im sorry, i think you just should sell your boas, or even better, give them to somone.

maybe you sho?uld further explain why you think eric should give away his boas? is it because writeing doesnt come naturally to him? i would really love to see why you feel that he should give his boas away kingpin. the guy asked a question ( granted i personally didnt really understand what he was asking that is why i didnt answer)and got mad cause it didnt get answerd. so for this he should give away his boas? i think you should give up your boas hwta do you think about that?

I could only find 2 questions in your post. The first question was wether or not you may have accidentally hurt your male boa when you separated him from the female during copulation a month and a half ago. Yes it is POSSIBLE. The only way to find out is by taking him to a vet. The 2nd question I found was if you have started a new line of pastels. Maybe you did, maybe you didnt. The only way to tell is to keep breeding.

If you would make your questions more clear and to the point you will have a MUCH better chance of getting answers. The only reason I even read your whole post (3 times) trying to figure out what you were asking, is because of the big deal being made about it. The problem is not so much your spelling, I can assume what you are trying to say if the spelling is at least CLOSE to correct. Your biggest problem is the rambling on and on about things unrelated to your question. If you had posted your questions like this "Help! I accidentally separated my boas while they were breeding, do you think I hurt them?" Also try not to ask so many questions in ONE post. Try it! I hope this helps. I'm not trying to be mean at all, so please dont take it that way. And good luck with your boas. sorry for rambling LOL

You basically nailed it right on the head!I only asked 2 questions an basically I was trying to break everything down in bothe questions that way you all understood what I was asking an could better answer my question! But instead it seemed like I confused the heck out of everyone an that was not my intention! Thanks for trying to help!Eric[Hypoboa]
