hey guys my balls have just bred.. i was wondering what are the chances of the female becoming pregnant.. They were only locked up for like 2 hours.. Before i disturbed them.. I did not want them to hook up i just left them together when i was cleaning the other cages and they locked up then i opened the cage to seperate them and they were scared and unlocked i greabbed the female and put her back in her cage.. What are the chances that she is pregnant? I see that people are breeding them for days at a time and sometimes even doing multiple breedings.. I was wondering this because i wanted to save her for next year.. BUt if she has a good chance of being pregnant.. i might as well let the male do what he will thanks..

I say go for it or don't based on the female's size, and if you can take care of the eggs/babies. If the female has a good length and weighs over 1500 grams, then I say let them keep going at it (if indeed you can incubate a clutch and then care for/ find homes for the young.) Otherwise, wait until you both are ready. I don't think one copulation for two hours is in favor of the female becoming gravid, but you never know! She may retain sperm. . . you'll have to wait and see.
