Breeding Male Fixing to Shed

dillreptiles Dec 07, 2004 09:52 PM

Ok so one of my male pastels was courting his woman for around 3-4 days pretty constant. Then he quit for a few days and I noticed his eyes turned blue so he is soon to shed. Right now all he is doing is coiling up with the female. Should I separate until he sheds, or just leave him in there and wait it out?

Thanks!

One of my males did the exact same thing. He was courting very heavily and then went "blue" and just stayed coiled for about four days. I decided that he was un-productive and seperated him. After he shed I put him back in and it was back to business as usual. I am not a boa expert, this is just my experience.
