What size to feed question

skmcwilliams Dec 07, 2004 10:00 PM

HI

I am pretty new to sankes. I aquired three balls at the Daytona show in August at the time they were only a few months old and I was told to feed them hoppers. I ordered in a frozen bag of hoppers and it seemed like in no time they started looking at them like a snack and not a meal. I am feeding them every other day now on hoppers and I know that it is way to small for them. They are 250 to 270 grams. What size should I order now and when I get the correct size how many times per week should I be feeding them. Thanks...

Try items about as big around as the snake. If they get intimidated by that, drop down to a smaller item. I have some snakes that prefer smaller food - you'll have to figure that one out on your own.
