Water level?

SnowWhite22 Dec 08, 2004 03:10 AM

What is a good water level to keep for RES turtles? They are just babies, maybe four inches each. I have them in deep water now and they like to swim, but I'm worried about their shells. They have a basking area but they don't use it too much. Should I lower their water level?

Babies are about the size of a quarter, yours could be 4 or 5 years old. They need the water as deep as you can make it, just make sure the basking area is warm and easy for them to access.
