Swollen lip?

robdamanii Dec 08, 2004 10:15 AM

Hey there folks, got a query for you...

My crestie has a little bit of a swollen lip on her left lower lip. It's just a little swollen up, like a person gets when they bite their lip. It doesn't even stick out much, but just a bit and I did notice it.

Just wondering if it's something I should be highly concerned about or if she could jave just bitten something that poked her lip or something like that.

Any thoughts?

I'll try to get a picture or two, but she's not entirely cooperative in front of a camera.

Thanks all.

i have a friend with a veiled chameleon that ran into swelling problems in the eye and mouth from a sore that developed and caught bits and pieces of cricket legs and such. might wanna try to get a look inside your gecko's mouth to see if theres anything noticeable in there and work from that....

it might also be MBD. one person on this site has a crestie with it in his jaw and it looks like it could have started out looking as a swelling. there are photos here somewhere. hope it's not that though
