bathing question..

Wake42 Dec 08, 2004 11:40 AM

is it okay to give him baths in water deeper than his shoulders? he likes to swim around and stuff so i make it a little deeper i never leave him alone in it and i put a rock in the water so he can get up so its not so deep if he wants to...is that ok>? i figure it is but just making sure.

I wouldn't with babies but I do with older ones. With adults I usually let them have the bathtub which has a natural slope so it's deeper on one end than the other. Still keep an eye on them whenever they are in water though, I had one of my big girls drown herself in 1" of water (what an idiot lol) I managed to clear her lungs and she made it but I was really suprised when it happened.

Ya, I think she's just that dumb. She put her head underwater like she was getting a drink and then inhaled and went limp. CPR on beardies is kind of interesting lol.

Not quite but when she finally came to it's a good thing she was a bit slower than normal or I'd have lost my nose. She's the one that's got a thing for biting faces off anyway.
