New to Rats, Please Help!!!!!!!!

wsurugby10 Dec 08, 2004 12:24 PM

Hi I'm new to the Rat Snake forum and also new to rat snakes. I saw some nice captive bred yellow rat snakes at our local reptile show and I really want to buy one. The only hold back is I'm not really sure what need to care for one. I have a Jungle Carpet Python but I figure that the care is extremely different. I've searched for housing and temperature requirements but with no luck. So if someone out there could tell all I need to know I would appriciate it. Thanks for your time.

read the care sheet on kingsnake, and read mine, and read any other one you can come across. never take one as the end all technique on housing snakes.
