In some past messages, I expressed concern for a pair of Uros residing at a nearby pet store. The good news: the animals have a new home as of Christmas Eve -- a friend of mine bought them as a present for his wife.

And they are getting better care at the pet store until they are picked up in a couple weeks. The owner was not interested in any assistance I offered -- but his daughter *did* listen, and the two animals are getting proper food and medical treatement. The one with the injury is looking much better.

Sometimes, things work out.

it is nice to know that someone in that family has some sense about them. i hope the daughter stays that way. it is nice to know that they are getting a good home and that part of the pet store is accepting good advice
