Vent fans

zuesfrog Dec 08, 2004 09:08 PM

I just purchased a medium vent fan for my tree frog vivarium to keep clean air moving through it. My question is, do I place the fan on top where the air is going into the tank, or in a way that it's sucking the air out of the tank. thanks.

either way will work to circulate air

if you make it suck air out it will pull air in the top at the same speed it sucks it out, otherwise there would be a vacuum when the air gets pulled out and none re-entered to fill its place
