Scientifically Determining Tegu Species - Fixed Chart

theTegu Dec 08, 2004 09:10 PM

The information that tupinambis posted to us is, in my opinion, completely invaluable. I took a few minutes and cleaned up and fixed the data in an easy to read chart. You can see it right here.

Wow, Rick! I'm truly impressed. I honestly wish I knew how to set up webpages. I thank you for your endeavors on this project!

Thank you. I do sincerely hope we get to the bottom of this 'blue' tegu issue as well as clear up any other inconsistencies we run into in the future.

You posted some great info that I had not seen prior and wish I had, so it was well worth the little effort I needed to apply to make it easily presentable.

If you have any further data or sources of reference (beyond what you already posted, as I did record those) feel free to email them to me. You know how to contact me.

I've asked you twice now to explain what you are doing and who you are working with in Brazil and you haven't answered yet. It would further your credibility here if I was 100% sure you were a real scientist/taxonomist/zoologist/biologist.

Now, don't quote me, but If I was going to just take a wild shot in the dark I would guess he was a MSc Candidate, at the University of British Columbia, Dept of Zoology. I could be wrong, but I doubt it! :P

I had made something similar in about 5 minutes with one of my graphics programs, we could stick something like that on your computer if you'd clear some room. It's easy to use and definatley more simple than putting together a web page and publishing it. He just posted his as I was posting mine, so I removed it.

Alex,

HTML is much easier to me then graphics. It took me only a few minutes to do the html for that page. To me HTML is just another language were graphics and their layers and tools do indeed confuse me at time. :P

It doesn't matter if you didn't post your work, I would still like to thank you for the few minutes you put into it as well as your participation in this discussion.
