Thanks for sharing the great pics. She's a pretty girl and did a great job. And best of luck with your eggs! I think the oval is a good sign.

I took a moment to go to your gallery, your reptile enclosure for your collards is really fine. Did you do this your self? I know of a company that does this with their cages. Just curious--it looks great, those collards are lucky!!!!

It was only my idea after coming across a bunch of shale that was full of fossils. My boyfried Sam made it to fit a big aquarium stand he had, the tank had been broken. It sits upon a lip along the inside top of the stand, leaving a hole under most of the enclosure. This worked great for running the power cords through, and hiding the cords. The shale was trimmed to fit and glued in place with ceramic tile glue, then filled in with sand based grout. The lizards seem much less stressed than in their glass tank, and they love their fountain. I'm very lucky to have Sam, first he caught me the collareds and got me hooked, then made the terrarium just as I had envisioned it.

Looks like giving birth is painful even for lizards. That egg does look big I know it is more leathery than bird eggs, but still
she laid how many? (I know you told earlier)
Take care
