So I finally got some free time by taking off work and I managed to make it to NYC to see the frog exhibit they have before it leaves Jan 9th. I must say, I was very impressed with the terrarium set ups they made, I was able to get some really cool ideas for my next one. The one thing that had questions about was the mixtures of species in each tank. In one tank they had D. Azuerus and D. Tinctoris mixed together and in the larger one they had a mixture of pretty much every dart frog species you could name! It was a rather large tank though so maybe that is why? The "Frog Guys" were busy with kids doing a presentation so I didn't get the chance to ask them, so I was wondering if any of you knew why they would do this when everywhere I have read and everyone I talked to said this can be dangerous.
For those interested, here is the link for the exhibit. Dont forget to check out frog cam, I see a Blue azuerus now!
