bicinctores vs collaris shed

my little spastic boy is shedding right now and i was just wondering if their skin is different than a collaris's because it seems alot thicker and leathery-er than when my collaris's peel i am not concerned, just wondering if anyone else has noticed this

Ezra, Annabella, and Cory's shed appear to be the same. I'll check closer next time.
