Hello again could i house a male jungle or iranian in a 55 gallon?

Just for clarification.......it is Irian Jaya, not Iranian.
Some can be kept in a 55, but they don't have but a 12-13" width, which is kinda cutting it slim for these snakes. They like to move about some. I would recommend a wider tank...like a 75E, it's 18" wide with the same length and height.

I have great cage locks! what tells you the iranian would get out? What about the jungle?

I just couldn't keep it to myself when I saw that Matt had corrected the author of og post and they insisted on spelling it Iranian. That is what made me chuckle, not to mention I am a big fan of your brand of sarcasm.

I got your joke and that's what made me laugh. Sorry, maybe I should have been more clear. What I meant was your joke regarding the spelling made me laugh. How are your Irian Jaya's or New Guinea carpet pythons doing this year. Are they going to breed/ seen any breeding activity. I cant remember, how many adult pairs do you have know.

Thanks for asking. I'm hoping to finally pair up my GQ adults this year. I may also have some interesting IJ crosses this year.
I've got 1.3 adults, 1.1 yearlings and then a couple trios from my 2004 clutches.
