Fruits and Veggie question

jntmom Dec 09, 2004 07:02 PM

I've had my little guy for a week and a day now. What took me so long to get a beardie?? lol. I do have a problem though, and need some advice. I'm giving him his fruits and veggies in a shallow dish just like all the care sheets state to do, but within an hour or so everything looks so dried and wilted. I put some grapes in tonight around 6 and it's 8:30 now and they are brown already! I've read that you are supposed to keep the dish close to the basking area but then wont the heat do this to them? I've tried moving them towards the cooler end of the tank, but still they look wilted after about an hour. Any suggestions?

Try keeping them misted, it keep them fresh for longer!
