What do you use to mark bearded dragons (by sex, etc.?) I've seen black and blue spots, as well as brightly colored ones. Is it just permanent marker, or what? I've always wondered.

I did use acrylic paint but brushes and Q-tips became a pain. I am using Non toxic paint pens called "Painters" I got them from a craft store. You just have to keep a piece of cardboard near by to get them started (each time). They are expensive but JoAnns Etc. has coupons for 50% off of one item, all the time. So I get those and go get the sets of pens.
I have heard of people using nail polish too.
Good luck
