Nessie was the best Nile there ever was here,and I look at that name as a "shrine",as she died!I can't accept that~!But then again,who cares what I think.
the loch ness monster,i live in scotland yah see!I've seen pics of nessie the nile and she was a fine specimen,heck i'll be glad if mines turns out half as tame!

Very sorry to hear that she died, I didn't know. It makes me sad because it was such a sweet lizard!
As far as markings go though, it was a VERY standard, unremarkable animal. Hardly a stunner.
Rob Faust has a few that make Nessie look drab and washed out to say the least. I've also seem pics of various ornates that are just amazing - unfortunately animals from those locales are not being brought into the country these days. Camaroon for one.
All things being equal, the commons that are available are nicer than the ornates that are available right now.
Neither come close to what's out there walking around in Africa!
