Broken hearted over partial DOA delivery

blackmantid Dec 10, 2004 02:02 PM

I just unpacked a shipment of 15 redeyed treefrog froglets. The box was not marked as Live Specimins, Frogs, Animals. No marking at all. The heatpack was not much larger than an open pack of matches and was as ice cold as the frogs. 15 were shipped, 10 survived and I am unsure of the remainders fate.
I have them in a small quarantine tank with appropriate heat and humidity for their size/age but there are no guarantees that they will make it. I have all the right sized food items and am hoping for the best.
I bought them from a dealer here on the KS classifieds. I won't mention names but I am shocked that a dealer would send such delicate tropicals in such a way. I had even emailed after sending payment requesting a mail to tell me when to expect them and never got so much as a reply. It's a damn shame

Shawn

I have been contacted by the dealer and all has been explained. It turns out it was the fault of the FedEx delivery and not the dealer...my apologies.
