What is the best food for salamanders??? Worms or crickets? Or manybe something else?
Nightcrawlers, worms, crickets, pillbugs, non poisonous spiders, BUGS-mostly anything moving to catch their eye. During the warm months you can get many of these right in your back yard presuming it's pestiside free. Otherwise there's online resources and even bait shops that carry some of these foods. Just keep experimenting and remember that an important factor to a sal's healthy life is variety.

You can even supplement with pinky mice every once in a while. But they will eat nearly anything.
