Antegy Dec 10, 2004 02:59 PM

Just wondering what you use for bedding in your ratsnake's cages?

Thanks,

I use newspaper. It is super easy to clean up and since I have a subscription, I have a never ending supply!!

I use paper towels for the babies, and then aspen for the adults. I've used newspaper, but didn't like it as much as aspen.
Cheers!

Depends upon the snake. Most are on aspen, although newspaper is also an option at times. For the select few who are more arboreal and need higher humidity, forest floor mix (kept well misted) does the trick.

I use beech wood chips, coz they make my viv look real good.
They're quite cheap too, but not as cheap as newspaper, obviously.

I've heard aspen is quite popular.

Kat.
