Well, it's almost that time of year!! I have 2 adult blues that I will be attempting to breed this season. I tried last year, but the female wasn't for it, I think it was because she wasn;t used to her new home yet. I know that some people have successfully gotten their pair to breed twice in one season. To do this, would I have to start early, or try to breed them once in season and once again late in the season? My next question is what kind of bedding will she prefere to make a nest out of? Also any suggestions about how to remove the eggs after she lays them? She's a sweet heart now but I know that they get VERY protective of their clutch. Will the male also protect them? Sorry so many questions!! I've looked at prev. posts and online but I want real peoples experienced advise. Thank you very much!!
