bail trimming plz help and a feeding question

how do people trim the monitoors nails and how much should i be feeding a black rough neck that is 27 inc long i feed him 3 mice everyother day too much too little plz help

To trim the nails, hold them or have someone else hold them. Secure all legs against the body. Hold the leg you wish to trim the nails on out. Becarful not to clip to high up. If you cut the quick of the nail it will bleed alot. So just trim the ends off. If your new to trimming animals nails you may want to have a vet show you how.

About feeding, this is something not easy to answer. Every individual is going to be different. I feed mine as often as they seem to want to eat. If they are hunting I feed them. If they are overweight I do not feed them. You must learn to adjust feeding to your animal not adjust feeding to what others do.

I feed this blackroughneck 1-2 medium mice a day. Othertimes she goes 3 days without it. Sometimes she eats 3-4 hopper mice. There is not much consistancy with living animals, so it makes giving you a direct answer hard.
