Mud and Musk question

nekot076 Dec 10, 2004 09:49 PM

I know it is not suggested, but has any had success housing a mud and musk turtle together. The two I have are very young, I was hoping they would be able to get used to eachother.

Any info would be a great help. Thanks.

Frankly, it is a "crap shoot" depending upon individual dispositions. They have a reputation for nipping others. Some do well with other turtles, but one I had hounded another mud until it wouldn't even enter the water.
