Are my frozen feeders trash now??

Antegy Dec 11, 2004 06:43 AM

I keep all of my frozen feeders in a small chest freezer - which got mistakenly unplugged for more than a day. When I came to realize it wasn't running I checked the feeders inside. They were all thawed, but still quite cold, as they would have been if they were in a refrigerator. I turned the freezer back on and everything is re-frozen now.

Is it okay that everything thawed out for a while, or does this mean that I should throw away my stock of feeders now?

Thanks,
- Mark

If you decide to keep them, you should try to use them up ASAP. They're not good as new once they've been thawed even if only partially.
