Couple questions

What wattage bulb is best for basking side in a 55gallon? I am currently using a 75watt zoo med basking bulb but it doesn't seem to be getting hot enough (around 85-90). I am considering buying a MVB instead. Is that better than a basking bulb? I seen two wattages for MVBs, 100 and 160, which would be better? Would I need to continue using my reptisun bulb or would the MVB be enough? Thank you all for your time.

Yeah, I also found that the 75 watt didn't do crap for my 40 gallon! It kept the basking temp at 90F - so right when I temp gunned it, I got a higher wattage bulb. Since your cage is bigger, I'd probably go with the 160 - but, I'd wait for someone else's opinion rather than my own - LOL
