These are a buddies of mine. All three were rescues.

A rhino with a lot of blue

Caymenisis

Grand Cayman Blue Iguana from David Blairs Big Blue. Too bad I caught him when he was shedding and late in the afternoon after he cooled down. Otherwise he is stunning.

I know a lot of people on this forum don't think Blair's hybrids are the best but I think they are awesome and for the price he is asking you can't really go wrong. He doesn't market them as close to pure so you know what you are getting. Too me a hybrid is worthless other than for a pet no matter how pure it is. It is still a hybrid. I really think that some of the outrages prices people ask for them is rediculous. Again very nice animals.

They all look great!! I should be so lucky as to get "RESCUES" so nice!! I also have a hybrid from Blair, assumingly from Big Blue as well. She's got a lot of blue on her too but nothing like that! She's starting to get more and more every day but you can't really see it on inside shots so I take her outside for better ones. It's a bit cool out right now here in Orlando but I'll get some new shots soon. Here's one of her last month, she's grown by leaps and bounds since then.

From what I am told the males get the most blue and females are no where near as colorful. No matter what, you have yourself a beautiful little girl.

How is her disposition? She looks like she is fairly calm for her age.

Thanks! She's pretty good after you get her out. She's still a bit flighty at times but if I put her on my shoulder she'll hang out with me.She's supposedly 3 but herp-fever,her past owner, says she may be 4.(I'm still waiting on papers from him to tell her lineage.)We watched animal planet last night and she fell asleep under the back of my 21" monitor.

From what I am told he is about 95% pure. Is there anyone who has PURE (non hybrid) blue iguanas? If so let me know. Or, is there anyone with a more colorful lewisi? The animals I have seen from Blair's collection have been unbelievalbe.

supposedly has some good looking hybrids. I think like 90% pure so he says but he wants like 2,000 to 2,500. Outrages for a hybrid in my opinion. I am pretty sure that there are no pure lewisi out there for sale. The who;e lewisi history is such a mess that is why I do not like hybrids. Now there are supposedly hybrid Ctenosaura bakeri going around but hopefully they are rendered infertile as I was told they were. I know that bakeri hybrids naturally with I think similis in the wild but I still think the hybrids in captivity should have been destroyed. Hopefully they never infect the pure bakeri stock that there is in captivity.

I have a '97 male from Blair's Big Blue and he looks like a Caymanensis with a blue grey head, a very common hybrid. Nowhere near the color of yours. I was hoping for color like yours but, oh well, a great lizard non the less.
