I would like to find a Uro that will work with a 20 gallon long tank... any suggestions? Also what type of wattage or special care.

i would recommend reading the caresheets on kingsnake.com and under the "sponsers" link on the uromastyx main page. i think you will see that no uro would live comfortably in a 20 long. they just get too big. wattage and whatnot are just things you have to play around with once you get your set up.
read about the specie and let us know what you decide they are great animals, just take some work to get set up properly.

Well, All I have is a 20 gallon tank, I cannot afford to buy another, so I need a lizard that will work.

well, i don't think that you are going to get a uro that will thrive well in a 20 gal. have you posted around to other forums to see what could fill that tank?

You can fit a pair (maybe even a trio) in a 20 long. I know that a single leo can fit comfortably in a 10 gallon tank.
But as far as uromastyx go, I would say that if you cannot afford a bigger tank it's best that you not get a uromastyx.
